Enjoy Lunch with Easy Clean-up

Soft sided cooler bags are a great way to keep your lunch cool and fresh every day. However, you run the risk of your go-to bag being out of commission if you do not clean it properly after each use. Food storage and the accumulation of moisture from beverages or other items can easily lead to the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew.

Simple Solution

For general cleaning in between uses, empty the cooler completely, wipe down all surfaces with warm water and a mild soap, then wipe it clean. Turn the cooler bag inside-out to allow it to dry with the inside exposed before storing again.

To remove odors, apply white vinegar to a clean cloth and wipe the inside of the cooler. Afterwards, you can just let the vinegar dry completely - no need to wipe off!

If you find mold and mildew in your cooler bag, your best option would be to put it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle, with cold water and a mild detergent. Once the cycle is complete, you can allow the bag to air dry. This fix is only an option for bags that are machine washable, so be sure to check the usage and care instructions for your product.
